The Butternut Company believes in healthy living. They whip high-protein butter and delicious spreads to kickstart energized mornings. Their products are preservatives-free and organically produced. They aim to add a healthy balance to people’s diets and refine their quality of life. The products are dairy-free, a great source of protein with jaggery. #BetterForYou is their marketing theme.
The Butternut Company was looking to increase its website reach organically even after spending massive amounts on paid marketing campaigns.
The challenges were with improving the user experience altogether. Furthermore, we had to strategize a way to invite and engage more visitors regularly and increase the revenue achieved from organic searches. Conclusively, the website needed to be more accessible and drive traffic organically.
We researched the company and performed a website audit to gain a better idea of its reach. Then, we curated a search-friendly website structure to retain the users and then shift to increase visibility on the search engines by adding accurate SEO elements.
After this, we moved on to set up a roadmap to understand the focused pages for targeted keywords. Consequently, we merged several sections of the old website to support our researched keyword strategy. Also, an integrated keyword strategy was developed to boost the ranking.
As there was an established value of the brand already, we created a URL strategy around it. To drive organic traffic, the magic formula of the informational + commercial intent blog plan was implemented. Moreover, to polish the website, even more, content-based backlinks were attached to improve domain rating and the site’s content was organized better.
For the final touches, the website was launched after all the resets and SEO monitoring was done to fix all the minimal bugs. We executed the launch of a smoothly functioning website that is super user-friendly with the potential to bring in more leads.
After carefully implementing these strategies, there was no stopping the brand’s digital growth. The client’s requirements were achieved successfully and the website’s performance skyrocketed to the ultimate level. There has been 100% year-on-year growth on organic traffic consistently. The users almost doubled every year; from 1,707 existing users in September 2020, it went up to 3,002 users in May 2021. There was a drastic reduction in the bounce rate too.
Organic keyword ranking accelerated to the top 3 levels. Additionally, the e-commerce conversion rate increased from 3.5% to 12% after website optimization. The revenue contribution boosted to 63% and the domain rating increased from 10 to 18 in merely 6 months.
